At Scotmin we continually strive to reduce our carbon footprint through research and development of our products, packaging and processes.
We consider it our social responsibility to strive towards a circular economy where we design out waste and mitigate pollution. In the coming months we will be introducing new mineral bags that are manufactured using at least 30% reclaimed plastic.
This positive step will serve to reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in landfill and help Scotmin to move forward as an increasingly sustainable business. All new packaging is 100% approved for food contact under EEC Directive 2002/17/EC. The composition of the product complies with EEC Commission Directive of 23rd February 1990 relating to Plastic Materials and Articles intended to come into contact with food stuffs.
