YFC Talent Spot Final West Region 2026

The West Region Talent Spot final once again lit up the SEC Armadillo, showcasing the incredible creativity, humour and performance skills of Young Farmers’ clubs from across the region. Scotmin Nutrition, long‑standing supporters of the event, were proud to celebrate an evening dedicated to building confidence, teamwork and rural talent.

Highlights

Crossroads YFC claimed this year’s top spot with a polished, emotionally resonant wartime‑themed production that impressed both judges and spectators. Their win reflects months of preparation, dedication and standout teamwork, adding to an already impressive run of recent successes.

In second place, Carluke YFC delivered a dynamic Winter Olympics‑inspired performance packed with clever staging and striking visual effects. Lesmahagow YFC secured third place with a fast‑paced Glasgow fast‑food‑themed show, which also earned the Best Act award thanks to an exceptional solo routine.

Individual talent took centre stage in the front‑of‑curtain acts, offering a mix of music, comedy and creative expression. Frazer McFadzean (Mauchline YFC) won the audience vote with a captivating acoustic performance. The night was further enhanced by supporting groups and volunteers, adding to the high‑energy, community‑driven atmosphere.

Organisers praised the outstanding standard of entries, the enthusiasm of every performer and the strong sense of community spirit that defines the Talent Spot year after year.
