A fantastic opportunity has arisen at the Scotmin Nutrition Ayr production facility to join a busy operations and sales support team.
Scotmin Nutrition – a division of Carr’s Group Plc – have been manufacturing animal feed supplements and nutrition products for the agricultural market since 1979.
Based in Ayrshire, Scotmin Nutrition began as a family business supplying nutritional supplements to local farmers. The company has since grown into one of the largest supplement businesses in the UK and also exports to Europe and Australasia. Over half of Scotmin Nutrition’s bulk mineral materials are shipped via the Port of Ayr, a mere two kilometres from the production factory.
Scotmin Nutrition is home to a team of nutritional experts who have over 100 years combined experience in dairy, beef and sheep nutrition. From analysing silage to developing tailor-made rations, their mission is to maximise performance on farm at minimum cost.
Successful applicants will:
- Be committed to achieving high standards of customer service
- Liaise with field sales staff and customers regarding delivery requirements
- Be able to work accurately in a fast-moving environment
- Have good IT and computer skills (MS Office, etc.)
- A confident telephone manner
- Have an outgoing personality
- Work well within a team
