Scotmin Nutrition a division of Carr’s Group plc has been manufacturing animal feed supplements and nutrition products for the agricultural market in Ayrshire since 1979, supplying farmers and feed merchants across the UK, Europe and Australasia.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our ever expanding Retail Team as an Area Sales Representative in Dumfries and Galloway.
The Role:
• Responsible for the management and business growth of the assigned territory
• Develop and generate sales to meet or exceed budget sales revenues
• Help devise and implement a business plan for this territory based upon business requirements
• Support, drive and generate new business with direct accounts, looking for opportunities to cross sell and grow business
• Receive and respond rapidly to customer enquiries, using all resources available
• Have an excellent understanding of the products and services supplied
• Attend Trade events and exhibitions as required
• Be responsible for the first level of customer support regarding technical issues, complaints, and product applications
• Assist with general financial management of the territory, obtaining forecasts and preparing reports as required
What we are looking for:
• Previous sales experience is advantageous, however full training will be provided
• Proficient IT skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as social media
• Must be highly motivated, driven, with excellent organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative
